Mexican Diva Salma Hayek will star in Oprah Winfrey`s four-hour TV movie based on Toni Morrison's novel "Paradise”, announced Variety.
The role in this movie, which revolves around the slayings of several women by a group of black men in the town of Ruby , Okla , marks Salma's TV return.
Salma Hayek Jiménez, is celebrating her 39 birthday on 2 September, and was born in Coatzacoalcos , Veracruz , Mexico as the daughter of a Lebanese-descended father and a Spanish-descended mother. She is renown in Hollywood for her role in the filme “Frida,” among many others.
Paradise, the first work published by Morrison after receiving the Nobel prize in 1993, narrates the killings of women by a blacks gang in a small town in Oklahoma in the 1970s. |
